چکیده
Inspired by the active site of CO dehydrogenase, a metalloporphyrin-based mimic has been synthesized combining multipoint hydrogen bond donor and bimetallic centre, as reported Zakaria Halime, Ally Aukauloo et al. in their Communication (e202214665). The cooperativity between two metal centres catalyst was shown for both homo- heterobimetallic analogues, leading to significant enhancement catalytic performance heterogeneous CO2-to-CO electrocatalytic reduction.

Ceria Reduction via Ce-Sn Bimetallic Bonding
Tin was deposited in the amount of 0.4 and 0.8 nm onto CeO2(111) surface by molecular beam deposition at the temperature of 520 K. The interaction of tin with cerium oxide was studied with use of XPS, UPS and RPES (Resonant Photoelectron Spectroscopy). The strong tin – ceria interaction led to the Ce(4-nx)+Snxn+O22compound formation. It was accompanied with partial reduction of CeO2 observed as...

Cooperativity and hydrogen bonding network in water clusters
Clusters of water molecules are held together by hydrogen bonding networks. These networks are dierentiated by the participation of the individual water molecules in the hydrogen bonds either as proton donors (d), proton acceptors (a) or their combinations. It has long been assumed that the stability of clusters is determined by the dominant twobody interactions between the water molecules. We...

By taking into account base-base stacking interactions we improve the Generalized Model of Polypeptide Chain (GMPC). Based on a one-dimensional Potts-like model with many-particle interactions, the GMPC describes the helix-coil transition in both polypeptides and polynucleotides. In the framework of the GMPC we show that correctly introduced nearest-neighbor stacking interactions against the ba...

A polarised-neutron diffraction experiment on [Co(NH3)5(H20)][Cr(CN)6] shows the unexpected features of spin populat ions on the cobalt ((0.5(2) e) and the "ammine" hydrogen (0.8(1) e in total) atoms. A local density approximation DV-Xa calculation on a unit that models the molecular geometry in the crystal returns features that are broadly in agreement with the experiment. The calculation also...
